The story behind Quincy
Our lead designer Quincy brings experience totalling nearly 5 decades of guitar building and designing, having worked internationally for many OEM and famous brands his return from semi-retirement was instigated by his niece Corinne who is the managing director of Quincy Music. She is supported by an ultra modern team of young rising stars of the stringed instrument design world, her partner Ben was a career musician who has performed professionally in the theatre music world since 2005.
We consistently bring new models to market and we combine our love of Art with our love of instrument making to deliver a new 21st century standard of products that boast the Quincy logo. Abdoulaye who is originally from Mali, now residing in Paris, is a student and lover of all things Art and his desire to advance the aesthetics of the Quincy range is evident in the many new finishes we offer.
Quincy Music are very proud to offer a broad range of exquisite instruments for musicians of all ages and stages. All our Quincy instruments combine high quality craftsmanship with international sourcing & production. Vero our highly experienced Production Manager speaks 4 languages, her transglobal trading etiquette make our range of instruments ultra competitive on pricing & quality. Margot and Ben always provide a 1st rate after sales service, and for total peace of mind to every Quincy owner all products sold have a 12 month warranty from purchase date.
In addition to our standard models we also offer a range of ZX & HW models that have been customised to stand out from the crowd by utilising current painting techniques such as hydro wrapping, hydro dipping, air brushing, vinyl wrapping as well as exciting creations by a cast of artists whom we commission to create unique bespoke one off finishes.
We often assemble products here in the UK & in France. Our team work closely with many specialists who have exceptional experience in electronics, paints and wood working. Depending on the model, parts may originate from a worldwide selection of suppliers, for example one ZX model features handmade strings from USA, pick ups materials from Japan, electronics from China, wood from South America and paint materials from the UK.
Based in the Greater Manchester area of England & the Correze region of France, Quincy Music has a UK showroom which is available to visit by appointment. We warmly welcome any prospective buyers to come and try out any of our models. Please ensure you arrange a visit with us before as we travel to France often and have support staff when we do.
